Zhu Zhu pets are almost like a living pet, with two very big advantages: they don’t stink and they are very clean. Other then that, they move and act like the real thing and you can forget sometimes you are playing with a battery operated toy.

There are 4 different hamsters to choose from. Each one of them is different coloured, and will make different sounds. They also all have different markings on their backs, and they each have their own personality.

The hamsters have some great play sets. They offer real styled hamster toys, like the exercise wheel, and the Zhu Zhu will work that on its own. They also have a globe they run along the floor, and they have their own residence they can fool around in. For the hippest of the hamsters, they offer a slide, a garage and vehicle that the hamster steers, a skateboard and mini ramp to make turns on and a very cool surf board to catch some imaginary waves with while “surfing” the floor.

For some down time, they have their own beds to put them in, and these beds even come with a matching cosy blanket. If you want them to go with you, they have carriers, with another blanket, so the Zhu Zhu can be on the go with your child. Again, there are four colours for each of the hamsters, and you can choose one to fit any child.

One of the smartest things about the Zhu Zhu kits is the flexibility to put them together. You can hook the sets with one another and create a bigger play area for the hamster. These can be rearranged, moved and added to and will create more entertainment with the Zhu Zhu pet.

This is a very innovative and believable toy hamster sure to be one of the most popular toys this year. They are astonishing to watch, and just as much fun to play with.
